The "My Black Feels Seen" film series is a poignant manifestation of Facebook App's evergreen campaign, "My Black Feels", which delves into the nuanced complexities of being Black. In a society that is eager to co-opt Blackness, it is only those within the community who can truly articulate the diverse and deeply personal experience of being Black. This campaign was designed to provide a platform for Black voices, allowing them to share their stories and connect with resources within the social media platform.
By amplifying the voices of Facebook groups and creators, we aim to empower the Black community with the language to express and define their experiences, while fostering connections with others who share similar lived experiences."
